Get both body and shine from this great new hairspray
The Pantene Pro-V Ice Shine Hairspray came out in June of 2007 along with a new line of other “Ice Shine” branded products including a Heat Defence Spray, an Anti-Frizz Crème and others.
The Ice Shine Hairspray is described as being an “improved micro-fine spray system” that will “leave your hair sparkling. The perfect combination of hold and sparking ice-like shine every time.”
I found that this hair spray really does give the wearer a a healthier look to the hair. You can take a limp head of hair and “bump it up” to a fuller head of hair. And then the shine gives it a “just-washed” look like you’d walked out of the salon.

Working with the kind of hair you have is often the difficult part in choosing a hair spray. Will it work on short hair or on long? Will it work on full hair as well as on limp hair? The Ice Shine will work on all of these hair types, depending on how you use the spray.
With long hair, what one wants to do to give it more body is to bend your head over and let your hair droop. Spray the Ice Shine Hairspray a few times in your hair while combing it through with a comb or your fingers. When you come back up, your hair immediately has more body. It makes it easier to put your fingers through after that. Then you can take the Ice Shine Hairspray and spray it in your hands. Smooth down the frizz on your hair and it gives it a great shine without giving it any more body.
With short hair, the shine really helps in making it look more freshly washed and treated. Simply spray the Ice Shine on your hair and then comb through if desired. If you don’t want as much body, you can just spray for the shine of it; I have short hair and it works perfectly with giving me shine and just a hint more body. Remember that too much body may not work on short hair, so be careful.
If you want a little extra body on limp hair, just again bend your head over and spray a little more than usually into your head. Make sure you comb though thoroughly and you will have as much body as you need.
Whatever your hair type, just be sure not to overuse it, because like every other hairspray on the planet, too much will dry out your hair.
Overall, the Pantene Pro-V Ice Shine Hairspray will give you great body and movement but also a shine that bright even from yards away on all kinds of her. I think it’s a great product!
