Lace up: The 2023 SELF Sneaker Awards are coming soon! We can’t wait to share the best kicks of the year with our readers later this summer. SELF editors are regularly testing the newest pairs of sneakers on the market, but we want to make sure we aren’t missing a thing for our awards. So, brands, that’s where the submissions come in. You know the drill: Keep reading for everything you need to submit to the 2023 SELF Sneaker Awards. See you on the courts! 

Eligibility guidelines

• To be eligible, a style must have launched (or plan to launch) between August 1, 2022 and August 1, 2023. Pre-existing styles that have been released in new colorways or improved in any significant way within the eligible time period are fair game. 
• We kindly ask that each brand submit no more than five styles total. Please prioritize the best of the best—your top releases or the shoes you anticipate will be the biggest crowd-pleasers.

How to submit

• To submit a sneaker, fill out this form. You’ll fill out one form for each style—so if you’re submitting three different pairs, you’ll fill out three separate forms. 
• Please do not ship any shoes for testing at this time. If we’d like to test a pair, we’ll reach out after reviewing your submission, which may take a few weeks. Please note that products we call in for testing cannot be returned. If submitting products may be a hardship for your brand, send us an email—we’d be happy to work with you to figure out a solution.
